I am not a fan of horror movies. Forget the aliens and all that. Not interested. I do like sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat Jason
Bourne-Mission Impossible type movies, but monsters and strange looking beings,
forget it.
So when A Quiet Place came
out and I got the idea that it had to do with aliens, I wasn’t interested. The only draw for me would be John
Krasinski. That is until I watched Bishop Robert Barron’s review of the movie. Wow.
With a PG-13 rating and the Bishop’s description of an
underlying message, it is a must see movie
for me now.
If you are not into spoiler alerts—and his review has them—you
may not want to see it, but I suggest you do, because what the good Bishop
brings out about this movie is beyond what most of us would probably pick up
just by watching it. I think it helps to hear his review first, even though it gives some things away.
You can find Bishop Barron's review on his Word on Fire website, or here:
Enjoy!
God bless,
